Deliveries

Where do you deliver?

We ship to all UK mainland addresses excluding Northern Ireland, Highland and islands.

Do you deliver overseas?

No - unfortunately we can only ship to UK mainland.

How much do you charge for deliveries?

UK mainland 24 hour delivery by courier is £6.50 on all orders placed under £50. For orders over £50 delivery is FREE (excluding promotional discounts & codes). Local delivery is charged at £3.50 per location.

Is there a free delivery service?

There is a minimum spend for free delivery on our courier/local delivery.

Do you offer a click & collect service?

Yes we provide a free click & collect service from The Food Forager HQ in Stockbridge, Hampshire. Wednesday to Saturday.

Can I get a Saturday Delivery?

Yes, but only by local delivery to the following post codes: SO20, SO21, SO51, SP5

How long will it take to get my order?

Please allow 24 hours for delivery once your box has been dispatched. You are able to place an order up to two weeks in advance.

Which days do you currently deliver?

We are currently delivering by courier on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Saturday for local delivery.

When would I have to place my order for a specific delivery day?

Example: For delivery on a Wednesday by courier your order must be placed on Monday by midnight.

For Click & Collect orders please select your preferred collection date on the checkout page. Please contact us at hello@thefoodforager.co.uk if you would like to collect on a different available day before you place your order.

Orders

How will my order be packaged?

Your products will be delivered in our bespoke designed fully- recyclable double-walled cardboard box. Inside the box your bottles will be safely stored in their own bottle rack and it will contain a separator to keep your chilled goods away from your ambient products.

How is the chilled produce packaged?

Your fresh chilled produce will be packaged in puffin packaging which is 100% recyclable wool packaging. The box will also include ice packs where necessary, this will keep your products chilled for at least 24 hours. 

The ice packs will thaw gradually during transit - this is how they keep the product cool. Please do not be concerned if you find that some or all of the ice has melted when your parcel arrives. Please re-use these ice packs if you wish by popping them back in the freezer.

What if any products are damaged?

While all our products are packed carefully to ensure they arrive in perfect condition, on occasion (and for reasons beyond our control) damage may occur in transit. Should this occur to a level that you deem unacceptable, please contact us so that we can arrange a free replacement at a suitable time, or a refund.
Please note that you will need to email us a photo of the damaged products within 24 hours of receipt in order to be eligible for a refund.

Can I return my product?

Due to the perishable nature of our products we do not accept returns. Instead we can offer a refund or a free replacement at a suitable time.

Is there a minimum order?

Yes, we have a minimum order value of £30 on all delivery services. We do offer free delivery on all orders over £50.

I have made a mistake with my order, what do I do?

If you have made a mistake when placing an order please contact our customer services via email orders@thefoodforager.co.uk and if it hasn't left for delivery we will be able to change this for you.

Can I add a gift message?

Yes, please write your message in the box on the basket page and we will include this in your box.

Can I place an order via telephone?

Unfortunately no, we can only accept orders via email so please contact orders@thefoodforager.co.uk and we will be able to assist you in placing your order.

Can I use a discount code?

Yes, if you have a discount code please enter this at the checkout page.

Please sign up to our newsletter to keep up to date with exciting new product launches, offers & promotions.

Except where otherwise stated, discounts and credits are available only once to any one person. Discounts and credits cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers and are based on the value of the products discounted. Free delivery may affect the promotional code.

Discounts and voucher codes cannot be redeemed against delivery charges. When using a discount or voucher, your order total must still exceed the minimum spend of £30 (excluding the delivery charge) and be above £50, to be entitled to receive free delivery. 

Items not available on my delivery?

If there is an item that you have selected that is not available for delivery, we will endeavour to contact you and offer a suitable replacement. If we are unable to contact you in time a suitable replacement will be sent out. If you are not happy when you receive your delivery please contact us, orders@thefoodforager.co.uk

How do I use my gift card?

If you have purchased or been given a gift card, we will email you with information around the terms and conditions of use. You will enter the gift card code on the checkout page under 'Discount code'.
